Our Blessed Mother has bestowed an enormous gift to all Catholics
in northeast Missouri. We shall have a Holy Mass on the exact 100th
anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima's apparition and Her 'miracle of the
sun' --- witnessed by 70,000 people in Portugal! Father Kevin Drew,
pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Trenton, MO has kindly agreed to
celebrate this Holy Mass FOR US at 7:00 PM, Friday evening, October 13
at St. Rose of Lima Church in Novinger, MO. On this day, and in light of the recent filial correction in regards to the papal exhortation Amoris Laetitia, we are reminded of Sister Lucia, who as a child witnessed the apparitions of Our Lady of
Fatima, and saying, “The final confrontation between our Lord and Satan will be
over family and marriage.”In light of the Fatima message and what is happening in this modern world (including Holy Mother Church), this Mass is an occasion of holiness for all of us. We shall pray the Holy Rosary 20 minutes before Mass. (Fatima is where Our Blessed Mother identified herself to the children as: The Lady of the Rosary) We'll have refreshments following Holy Mass in the Parish Hall --- probably desserts. It is the ONLY Mass in the Parish on this date. All are welcome!  |
