Between the All Souls Day Mass and the following Sunday Mass, we had a weekend total of 65+! And yeah, we had ice cream too. Some used it for the dual purpose of nourishment & make up. How creative!

Friend of the LMS, Monsignor Richard Soseman (who has celebrated Holy Mass for us at St. Rose) sent along a picture of the beautiful 40-Hours worship his Parish in Peru, Illinois celebrated from November 7th until the 11th.  The 40-Hours Devotion includes Holy Masses, Benediction, Confession, the Angelus and more. Great work, Monsignor. Thank you.

Saint Columban Church in Chillicothe, MO (KC/St. Joseph Diocese) is having a Solemn High Latin Mass in honor of the Solemnity of St. Columban on Friday, November 23 at 6:00 pm.  Music for this special Mass will be provided by the internationally acclaimed Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apsotles from Gower, MO.
This will be the first time in many decades this solemn liturgy has been offered in that parish.

Father Schrader of the Diocese of Jefferson City thanks all who were able to be present and assist with the recent sung Mass for All Souls Day at St. Brendan's in Mexico, MO.  It has been many years since there has been TWO TLM's on the same day in this Diocese!  He is also happy to announce that, beginning in December, he will offer an extraordinary form Mass every first Sunday of the month at 12 noon at St. Brendan in Mexico, MO.

DECEMBER WILL MARK THREE CONSECUTIVE YEARS! Can you believe it? We are blessed to announce a December Traditional Mass has been set for 4:00 PM, SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2; THE 1st SUNDAY OF ADVENT at historic St. Rose of Lima Church in Novinger.  This Holy Mass will mark the 36th consecutive monthly SUNDAY Latin Mass in northeast Missouri.  Over that three-year span, six different priests from three different states have celebrated the Traditional Latin Mass at St. Rose. How could we have had three consecutive years of Holy Masses WITHOUT a designated priest? Thank Our Blessed Mother.  It is She who has made this a reality.  Father Kevin Drew will again be with us.  Rosary 20 minutes before and a special reception to celebrate the three-year milestone will follow Mass.  Please be with us to celebrate the generosity of Our Dear Lord.  God willing, January will mark the beginning of our fourth year!
